About Us
123viele.at was born out of real life: Iris and Mario are a patchwork family themselves — with five children, a full daily schedule, and the realization that much of the advice you find out there simply doesn't fit your own situation. Because a patchwork family ticks differently. Different constellations, different dynamics, different questions — and that's exactly what was missing: a place that gets it. From that impulse, 123viele.at was born.
What we stand for
We believe every family finds its own rhythm — given the right tools, honest information, and people who've been there. Openness and diversity aren't buzzwords for us, they're a stance: Whether patchwork, rainbow family, single parent, or classic — at 123viele.at, every family form is welcome. Our goal is a platform where no one has to explain themselves, but everyone takes something away.
What you'll find here
We're starting with what matters: honest stories, practical everyday tips, and the topics that come up in real family life — not the ones from the textbook. The offering grows step by step. We take the time to develop content that really makes a difference — less and good rather than much and arbitrary.
Our shop & products
We're already working on digital products and materials to make everyday family life a little easier — from practical planning aids to creative content for kids. What exactly we're cooking up, we'll reveal bit by bit. It's worth staying tuned.

The Woman
Iris
Introductions... I am "the woman", my name is Iris, but I am mostly called Mama in all tones and all situations. Born in 1987 and raised in Klagenfurt, then a five-year stay in the countryside, and back in the small "big city" since 2017.
I have three wonderful, bright children who keep me from getting bored every day and countless projects that I pursue daily. Since the classic concept of falling in love-getting engaged-getting married-having children-living happily ever after didn't work out, I let a new love into our lives one summer and with him another little sweet prince.
So from one day to the next you become a patchwork mom with all the hurdles and experiences. This blog is also a way for me to share the insights, tricks, tips and tricks of how we manage our big family life. We don't want to sugarcoat anything or downplay anything, every parent knows that every development and actually every day brings new challenges.

The Man
Mario
I am "the man", also known as Mario in everyday life. I've passed the 30 mark a few years ago and I hope there will be quite a few more.
Raised in the big city of Vienna, I ended up in beautiful Carinthia in 2013. For love, of course, because the job situation was certainly not the reason in the first months.
As "THE" Viennese, it wasn't always easy at first – here in the countryside, but in the end I found my way here. The love that brought me to Carinthia gave me a wonderful son who was born in 2015. Meanwhile we are separated and divorced, but on good terms and still good parents to our son.
My son, 3 patchwork kids, a new woman and me, that's how we go through our everyday life 😉
